Kris Kirk: 2DOGS

In collaboration with GOBI and The LINE LA, MOTOR presents Kris Kirk’s second iteration of 2DOGS. Showcased is a collection of new photographs while coinciding with an overall display of Kris’ phtography and publication practices capturing years of his work as a street photographer from as early as 2006. MOTOR’s setting mirrors and offers a uniquely fitting backdrop for Kirk’s raw and gritty style of photography. Upon entering the space, an expansive library of books, zines, and other publications surround you while images, capturing the energy and vitality of contemporary American culture, lure your attention towards the scattered collage along the ceiling trailing downward towards the floor.
